Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

FirstSnap.net is an analytics service. We collect only what's needed to operate the site, process payment, and prevent abuse:

• Account: email, password hash, account creation date, last-login IP.
• Passes: Stripe customer ID, which pass was bought, the checkout session ID, and the date access expires. We never store credit-card numbers. Stripe handles those directly, and because passes are one-time purchases no payment method is kept on file.
• Preferences: odds format (American/decimal), notification settings, onboarding progress.
• Usage: page requests, IP address, user agent (server log). Retained 30 days, then purged.

2. What we do not collect

• No third-party advertising trackers.
• No data sold to data brokers.
• No fingerprinting, no session replay.
• No analytics SDKs that exfiltrate behavior to vendors.

3. Cookies

Two cookies, both first-party:

• Session cookie (signed) keeps you logged in.
• CSRF token cookie protects form submissions.

No third-party cookies. No advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set its own anti-bot cookies (__cf_*) for edge security.

4. Subprocessors

We rely on these vendors to operate the service. Each receives the minimum data necessary:

• Stripe: payment processing. Receives your email + billing details. stripe.com/privacy
• Cloudflare: CDN and DDoS protection. Receives your IP + request metadata. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Purelymail: transactional email (verification, password resets). Receives your email + the message body.
• GitHub: code hosting, no user data exposure.

5. Email

We send transactional email only: account verification, password reset, purchase receipts, and rare service announcements. No promotional drip campaigns. You cannot opt out of transactional email while the account is active.

6. Data deletion

Passes are one-time purchases, so there is nothing to cancel. Access simply ends on the expiry date shown in Account. To fully delete your account + all associated data, email [email protected] from the address on file. Deletion is permanent and processed within 7 days.

7. Children

FirstSnap.net is not directed at anyone under 21, the eligibility age set in our Terms and stated in the footer of every page. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us immediately.

8. Bundle accounts (NRFI.net)

FirstSnap.net and NRFI.net are operated by the same legal entity (NRFI NET LLC) but maintain separate accounts and separate Stripe customer records. Information shared with one site is not automatically shared with the other.

9. Changes

Material changes will be announced via the in-app notification bell + an email to the address on file. The effective date at the top of this page is always current.
